We take pride in our commitment to environmental education and sustainability and this award is a reflection of our dedication to promoting environmental awareness within communities across Ireland. By encouraging primary school children to engage in upcycling projects, Bord na Móna Recycling has not only contributed to sustainability but also inspired the next generation to think innovatively about waste reduction and resource management.
Through the initiative students were empowered to become change-makers within their communities, instilled with a circular economy mindset and inspired to play a role in helping Ireland reach its climate targets.
