Bord na Móna Recycling are proud to continue our partnership with our Newbridge neighbours, St Conleth’s Park who this past Sunday reopened their gates for the first time in 19 months for the Kildare Senior Football Final between Naas and Celbridge.
Their €18m project which began in March 2023 increased the venues capacity to 15,000, and includes a new playing surface and widened pitch which be watered with supplies from an irrigation system, state-of-the-art floodlights, new dressing rooms as well as a new main stand which boasts hospitality facilities, shops, and VIP meeting areas.
Bord na Móna’s partnership with Kildare GAA aligns with the stadiums sustainability strategy as we proactively work together to achieve its goals, improve visitor experience and change how we as a society think about waste. Our involvement showcases our broader mission of promoting sustainable practices and responsible waste management.
